Our Journey & Purpose
Our Origin
In 2020, as the world came to a standstill, Nomadsphere was conceived – not only as a community, but as a sanctuary. What began as a virtual gathering spot for a close-knit group of friends quickly transformed into a space for both seasoned digital nomads and newbies alike. The essence of Nomadsphere was born out of genuine need for connection, a heartfelt response to an isolating period. Today, it stands as a testament to the human spirit's ability to find community and connection, even in the most challenging times.
Mission
Our mission is to create a supportive community for digital nomads worldwide while striving for a positive impact on the destinations we explore
Vision
Our vision is to inspire members to step out of their comfort zones and deepen their experience and connections, while working and traveling around the world.
Meet The Founders
Behind NomadSphere's thriving community is a dedicated team of seasoned digital nomads, each bringing their own unique journey and expertise. Together, we've combined our passions, insights, and experiences to cultivate a platform that resonates with the ever-evolving needs of the global nomad.

Alex
Alex is an infrastructure engineer that has been working remotely and nomading since 2018, though recently he has established a home-base in the Pacific Northwest. He is frequently motorcycling around different destinations, and enjoys working from remote places along his rides.
Some of his favorite destinations are Taiwan, Guatemala, and Spain. His most unique spot working abroad was a small finca in rural Guatemala on the side of a mountain he found while riding, with fiber internet and clean water directly from the nearby waterfall.

Claudia
Claudia is currently on her second time around as a digital nomad. She first traveled and worked remotely back in 2008-2009 (back before maps on phones and Airbnb were ubiquitous). During that time, she visited countries all over Europe and Asia. After a decade living and working back in the US, she is now on the road again, this time with her cat Chloe along for the journey!
Claudia is also an avid train nerd, and volunteers for an organization that promotes building high speed rail in the US.
Some of her favorite nomad destinations so far are Thailand, Japan, Spain, and Berlin. -
Florence
Flo is a freelance product designer from Montreal, Canada. Her digital nomad journey began in 2016 in Chiang Mai. Since then, destinations like Sri Lanka, Mexico City, and Thailand have been at the top of her favorite list. While she relishes the nomadic life, Flo now adopts a "slow-mad" approach, anchoring herself on a small island off the Canadian Pacific Coast, venturing south during the winter months to chase warm waters to surf.
Passionate about breathwork, yoga, and wellness, she finds solace in conscious communities and chill surf towns. Digital nomadism isn't just about travel; it's about the unparalleled freedom to work and live in environments that truly resonate with her spirit and values.
