As 2023 comes to a close, we’ve been looking at where digital nomads are heading next year. Here are some of the top locations we’ve been hearing about lately — both emerging destinations as well as digital nomad classics.

Emerging Destinations

Taipei, Taiwan

Taipei is an exciting city, made up of diverse neighborhoods that cater to a wide range of interests. Taipei's growing tech scene is a significant draw for digital nomads, with a plethora of cafes and coworking spaces equipped with high-speed internet. The city is also home to tech hubs and innovation centers, providing opportunities for networking and collaboration with local entrepreneurs and startups.

Taipei’s neighborhoods are distinct and diverse. Ximending’s bustling streets are known for youthful energy and trendy boutiques, while the historic district of Dadaocheng is filled with traditional tea houses and antique shops. The Da'an District boasts a more upscale ambiance, with chic cafes and boutiques, while the Wanhua District, home to the famous Longshan Temple, offers a glimpse into Taipei's historical roots.

Montreal, Canada

Montreal is located in the French-speaking province of Quebec and offers a unique blend of European and North American cultures that palpable in every aspect of life.

Easy access to nearby wine regions and coastal towns adds to its many charms.
